History
Data People, Inc. was started in 2001 with a well-defined need for solution-oriented staffing services.  Robert Smyth, our CEO and President is an entrepreneur with roots in the Information Technology and Engineering sectors for over 18 years. Graduating from LeTourneau University in East Texas with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering Technology, Robert has worked in the Engineering, Financial and Telecommunications sectors in various capacities of management and business consulting.  As a hiring manager, Robert identified a need in the industry for sourcing organizations and personnel that had been on the hiring side of the business, understanding and having a well defined staffing solutions approach that complement corporate business needs.
